Duration of LDN Psoriasis Trial
Diary, Research December 16th. 2008, 12:38pmDavid Gluck has commented by e mail that three months might not be long enough to properly evaluate the impact of LDN on Psoriasis as it is one of the most difficult conditions to treat. My limited clinical experience would confirm the cyclical nature of the condition which seems to be very sensitive to changes in the immune system. Stress or alcohol could have a marked effect and prevent the full effect of LDN from being expressed. I plan to review the trial at the three month point and if we do not have significant changes we will consider extending it. We have recruited four of the ten target patients and will give a push in the new year for the remaining six cases.

I’ve been on LDN since february this year (2009) for MS. I gradually raised the dose from 1,5mg over 3mg to 4,5mg (in 2,5 months). I’ve been on 4,5mg since the beginning of april. After almost two months the ms is way better. I have some minor symptoms that come back from time to time, when I’m tired or when I didn’t stick to my diet (BestBetDiet since may 2008, thanks to Direct MS, I owe you!!!). I think strategies in nutrition combined with supplementation, drinking a lot of water (2lit), a healthy lifestyle, exercise, positive thinking (very important but not always easy, I know that very well) and LDN offer a good chance to overcome MS/Psoriasis/… to relax and modulate the miseducated immune system for the better.
By the way I feel now, I predict that the ms will stay calm, that I am in control now and the feeling is great.
I’ve also had mild psoriasis since I was 15 and that started to clear also. After two months on 4,5mg it reduced by 85% and it is still getting better every day.
Thumbs up to all the people promoting LDN!
With kind regards from Belgium!

please send me update. Thankyou
I have recently become aware of the drug LDN through a lady suffering from MS. Having requested our local lions group to support the petion on gobernment i decided to conduct a little research into the drug and have come across your site.
I have suffered from psoriasis for approximately 15 years having a large area of my legs, arms, scalp affected with some addition areas on the buttocks, back, under arm and torso.
I have tried many different forms of treatment ranging from the prescribed greasy steroid creams from my local gp to oat ot sea salt baths, pills from south Africa, Bananna skins, Tea tree oil and last year even photo light therapy.
Sadly the effect seemed to be minimal and i would be very interested in finding out more about the clinical trials you are conducting and the possible side effects of taking such a drug.
Perhaps you would be kind enough to contact me at your earliest convenience?
Kind Regards
Paul Chandler
